Kans is the alias of Randall Felter, hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He was born in Amsterdam Zuidoost and grew up in Amsterdam Oost/Oud-Zuid. During his teenage years, he discovered his talent for the microphone and began writing lyrics. The same year, Kans released his first entirely Surinamese single, “Tranga Udu,” which he wrote and co-produced. The track held the number one spot for three weeks on the biggest radio station in Suriname.

The album, consisting of thirteen tracks, continues in the same musical direction as ‘Deze Eenzaamheid Laat Mij Niet Alleen.’ ‘Hennessy & Beckies’ features guest appearances from artists like Murda, Jonna Fraser, Ray Fuego, and Bokoesam. Production credits on the album go to Kans himself, The Fishermans Collective, Project Money, Cinco, SHY, Surg, Landje, and Yade Lauren. The album was mixed and mastered by David van Dijk.
