Wander

Although his rather serious job at ING might suggest otherwise, Wander (28) is still that boy with his guitar and energetic Dutch-language repertoire who knows how to turn every room upside down. When he came to study in Amsterdam in 2012, he quickly found his way to the stage and Wander played at student parties all over the country. Although his studies in economics have now been completed, he is working his way through work life during the day. As soon as work is done, the Excel spreadsheets are quickly changed for music sheets.

Catchy choruses and sharp lyrics accompanied by his virtuoso guitar playing led to his first radio successes in the past with ‘Nog Heel Even’ and ‘Zonder Jou’. This resulted in Wander being nominated for 100% NL talent of the year. After his participation in Giel’s Talentenjacht in 2016 and the closing performance in the main hall of Paradiso, it became clear that he has everything to become an established name in the Dutch-language pop genre.

With his first official record deal in his pocket, Wander is now ready to take the next step. His new single ‘9 Hour Long’ / forthcoming EP is proof that he has evolved and is more than ever capable of lingering in the ears of the bar crowd with his infectious sing-alongs
