Ricky Daal aka RQ is an independent singer/songwriter based in Amsterdam. His roots are Dutch/Curacao and he grew up listening to a lot of different genres from soul to reggae and country.

He started out as a songwriter, but in the last year he decided to make way as an artist. Throughout the years he has worked with Re-Play, Cheyenne Toney, Skinto, Stepherd and Zefanio.

His first release as an artist ‘Hold On’ is a collaboration with the Belgium artist Cyra Gwynth. Without any major marketing push ‘Hold On’ reached the viral top 50 playlist in France and Belgium. Since then he had two releases ‘Move the Earth’ & ‘In My Head’.
