Kirsten Michel

Kirsten Michel (February 3, 1987) is a Dutch singer, songwriter and vocal coach. In 2008 she obtained her Conservatory of Amsterdam degree, where she worked as a theory teacher from 2007 to 2016.

Her focus now lies more on her work as a backing vocalist, vocal coach and writer. She wrote commercials for clients such as the government (Het Houdt Niet Op) and Huawei, and made several title songs for films and leaders for TV programs.

She also works with many artists, not only as a writer but also as a backing vocalist and/or vocal coach. Some names Kirsten has worked with are: Wulf, Janieck, Emma Bale, Tino Martin, Rene Froger, Wolter Kroes, Do, Jim Bakkum, Tim Douwsma, Phuture Noize, Dwight Dissels, Yves Berendse, MEROL, Henri PFR, Fource, Jochem Fluitsma, Eric van Tijn, Children for Children, Zin in Zappelin and many others.
