Jannes was one of the four members of the former boy band FOURCE from 2017 until the end of 2022. Prior to this, he played leading roles in musicals such as “De Kleine Blonde Dood,” “Pinokkio,” and “André het Astronautje.” He also pursued acting, appearing in episodes of TV series like “Dokter Tinus,” “Flikken Maastricht,” “Brugklas,” and as a disciple in “The Passion” in 2022.

Besides his extensive acting career, Jannes is a multi-talented musician. He plays the guitar, piano, and drums, and he is active as a rapper, producer, and songwriter, both as a lyricist and composer. He started writing his own raps in FOURCE’s singles, such as “Afterparty,” “Over en uit,” and “Niks meer van me aan.” Additionally, he has written full songs (without rap), including FOURCE’s single “Met niemand delen.”

In 2023, Jannes is embarking on a language journey to San Diego after completing his HAVO diploma at the Gerrit van der Veen College in Amsterdam.

Jannes Heuvelmans (2003) grew up in Tilburg and played his first role in a theater production when he was 9 years old. He portrayed the character of young Billy Kramer in the play “Kramer vs. Kramer” alongside Rick Engelkes and Pia Douwes. This role marked the beginning of Jannes’ continuous involvement in acting and singing alongside his schooling.

His talent for singing was discovered during this time, and he went on to play numerous leading roles. He stood alongside Max Mies in the musical “Waanzinnig Gedroomd” and shared the title role of “Pinokkio de Sprookjesmusical” with Max Mies once again. Additionally, he played the title role in the music theater production “André het Astronautje,” which was created by André Kuipers.

In 2017, Jannes decided to audition for the Junior Songfestival (AVROTROS, NPO Zapp). He was selected by the organizers to form the boy band FOURCE with Ian Kuyper, Max Mies, and Niels Schlimback. They won the national final and represented the Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia, where they finished 4th.

With FOURCE, Jannes achieved numerous successes, including 25 number-1 hits in the Kids Top 20, tens of millions of streams and views on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, five sold-out concerts in venues like 013 and Ahoy, a theater tour with 32 shows, performances at various festivals and on numerous TV shows, and their own merchandise line with over 100 different items. They also received awards, including a Zapp Award and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.

2022 marked the final year of their joint career, and they concluded it with a grand symphonic Christmas concert at the Brabanthallen on December 11th, titled “Symphonic Christmas.” Originally scheduled for December 2021, the concert had to be postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Jannes completed his HAVO diploma and a vocational acting program but has been working as an actor for quite some time. In addition to the many musicals he has starred in, he appeared in episodes of TV series like “De vloer op jr.” (NPO 3), “Dokter Tinus” (SBS 6), “Flikken Maastricht” (NPO 1), and “Brugklas” (NPO Zapp). In 2022, he portrayed one of the disciples in “The Passion” (NPO 1).
