Eves Laurent

Eves Laurent is of Ghanaian descent and grew up in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. He began rapping as a hobby with friends, which later led to the creation of the collective “De Fellas” and the label “High Paid Fellas.” Since 2013, Eves Laurent has been releasing music, often rapping about various criminal activities and street life. In 2017, De Fellas participated in a Winter Session on 101Barz, where Eves Laurent also performed. During the summer of 2017, he was invited to the 101Barz studio for his solo session. Additionally, Eves Laurent contributed to the Rotjoch United track Appelsap 2017, which became his first song to enter the Single Top 100.

He collaborated with Frenna on the single 21, which later appeared on the album Deze is niet voor de charts. This album included the track De ploff!, where Eves Laurent reflected on the ATM bombing in Germany and its consequences. Despite not being released as a single, De ploff! became the biggest hit of Laurent’s career. Three days after Deze is niet voor de charts, Eves Laurent released the album Adfectus XXI.

In February 2022, Eves Laurent released the single Hollandse zon, which was later included in his album Zeg minder dan nodig is, released at the end of the year. In 2023, he followed up with the album De rosé achter het masker.

In 2024, the rapper announced that he had signed a contract with the music label Top Notch. Along with this announcement, he revealed plans for a new album titled Mijn ziel is geen deal.

Eves Laurent has collaborated with artists such as Frenna, Sevn Alias, KM, Jordymone9, ADF Samski, Jayh, Frsh, Adje, and Jonna Fraser.
