CTM ANNOUNCES LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP WITH LEGENDARY ARTIST & SONGWRITER SALVATORE ADAMO

Amsterdam, September 2025 — CTM is proud to announce a long-term collaboration and strategic partnership with internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Salvatore Adamo, the most successful Belgian artist in music history. This agreement covers the majority of Adamo’s music publishing rights, as well as a significant portion of his master recordings.

With a career spanning over six decades and more than 100 million records sold worldwide, Adamo’s timeless catalog includes iconic songs such as “Tombe la neige,” “La nuit,” “Inch’Allah,” and many others. His music continues a resonate across generations and cultures, with recordings in multiple languages including French, Italian, Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Turkish. Through this partnership, CTM will actively pursue new global opportunities to bring Adamo’s music also to a young and broader audience. This includes innovative licensing strategies, sync placements, and curated reissues, as well as a wide range of Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) initiatives. Among the first projects in development is a feature film chronicling Adamo’s extraordinary life and career.

By the second half of the 1960s, Adamo had become the world’s second best-selling musician, surpassed only by The Beatles. Over the course of his career, he sold more than 80 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide, making him the best-selling Belgian artist of all time and one of the most commercially successful musicians globally.

Since 2001, Adamo has held the Belgian noble title of Ridder, equivalent to the English title of “Knight.” In 2005, he was named an Officer of the French Légion d’honneur, and in 2015, he was appointed Commander in the Order of the Star of Italy. In 2016, he received the Order of the Rising Sun for his influence on Japanese popular music. In 2024, Adamo was awarded the Grande Médaille de la Chanson Française by the Académie française — the highest linguistic authority in France and a global symbol of excellence in the French language. This rare honor underscores the literary quality and cultural significance of his songwriting.

“We are proud to represent the legacy of Salvatore Adamo,” said CTM CEO André de Raaff. “His music has touched millions, and we look forward to introducing his work to new generations through creative and meaningful channels.”

Earlier this year, Adamo received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the MIA’s (Music Industry Awards), held on January 29 at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The MIA’s are an annual ceremony honoring the most outstanding achievements in the Flemish music industry.

“I’m honored to continue my musical journey with CTM. This partnership opens new doors to share my repertoire with younger and broader audiences,” said Adamo.
