André van Duin receives award for more than 30 million music sales

André van Duin released his first single “Hé! Hé!” on CNR Music in 1965 and in the decades that followed he scored more then 40 CNR Top 40 hits and with his albums he achieved gold and platinum status many times.

André is still one of the most beloved artists in the Netherlands and partly on the occasion of his 75th birthday on February 20th, CNR is releasing a unique 3CD box: “Gewoon André” featuring the different genres that André performed so successfully:

  • CD 1 – ‘Carnaval en feestkrakers’
  • CD 2 – ‘De liedjes’
  • CD 3 – ‘Sketches en Malle Gevallen’

Joop van de Ende wrote a heartwarming foreword especially for this CD box.

This afternoon during the TV-show ‘Tijd voor MAX’, Daniel Dekker presented an Award to André on behalf of CNR Music, for more than 30 million sales (a combination of physical carriers, music streams and downloads).
